OAKLAND – Family members of a 30-year-old Oakland woman who has been missing for more than a month say police and volunteers have been combing the boardwalk and surrounding beach areas of Long Branch after her car was found at an apartment complex in the shore community. So far, their search has been to no avail.

Meaghan McCallum, 30, who was staying with her grandmother in Montvale, has been missing since the early morning hours of March 11. She suffers from bi-polar disorder and had recently stopped taking her medication, family members have said. While McCallum has traveled internationally by herself previously, this is the first time she has left unannounced and for such a duration.

OAKLAND — There have been no signs of a 30-year-old Oakland woman who went missing more than two weeks ago.

Meaghan McCallum was last seen in Montvale on March 11 leaving her grandmother’s house in a black 1998 Subaru with New Jersey plates: N32-EAY.

“We have no leads as to where Meg could be,” her mother, Heidi McCallum, said. “We have state police, Bergen County Police and Oakland Police still actively looking.”

A 30-year-old Oakland woman with a history of mental illness has been missing since Tuesday night, prompting her family to fear the worst.

Meaghan McCallum was last seen by her grandmother, Betty Sidow, 85, at about 11 p.m. Tuesday night, said Heidi McCallum, the young woman’s mother. Meaghan lived with her parents in Oakland, but had been staying with Sidow at her Montvale home since Saturday. When Sidow woke up at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, Meaghan and her car were gone, the missing woman’s mother said.

FORT KNOX, KY. – The family of a Fort Knox soldier last seen visiting his parents on Thursday in Sarasota, Fla., has reported him missing.

The Manatee County sheriff’s office in Bradenton, Fla., says Pfc. Daniel Dezinno left his parent’s home to return to the central Kentucky military post but hasn’t reported or been heard from since.
