JOHN DAY — A former Springfield couple who live in eastern Oregon are missing under circumstances that have baffled the Grant County Sheriff and brought their Lane County relatives to the area for the search.

“Its very frustrating, because it’s not like them to just take off and not let someone know where they’re at,” a nephew, Josh Smith, of Springfield, said Tuesday afternoon. “And this is what family is considering to be suspicious circumstances.”

TX – Family continues to search for missing firefighter a year after disappearance | WFAA

Like so many families of missing people, they, too, have searched.

Chambers disappeared from his property in Greenville on March 10, 2017. Police found blood in his woodshed, but that is the only evidence police have.

Every time they hear a body has been found, the family said they wait anxiously. “Obviously wherever they are, you go on high alert,” she said.

Troopers back at Catskill home they searched for missing man | timesunion

CATSKILL – A Hudson Valley man who disappeared under suspicious circumstances last year was found Tuesday at a local home State Police previously searched.

In an updated CBS 6 News report Tuesday night, Greene County Coroner Richard Vigilo confirmed Brandyn Dayne Foster, 31, was found on Tool House Road in Catskill. When reached at home by a Times Union reporter, Vigilo said an autopsy was being performed at Ellis Hospital but declined to speak further.

Bodies found in rural Pa. woods may be linked to ‘suspicious’ disappearance of missing men | msn.com

Two people were found dead by hunters in what’s being considered a homicide case with a possible connection to two known missing persons, state police in Somerset County, Pa. said Monday.

A forensic anthropology team from Mercyhurst University is trying to help identify the bodies, both of which were found in a wooded area near Ligonier Pike in Conemaugh Township on Friday, police said.
