GA – Aberdeen mother reflects on one year anniversary of her missing daughter | KSFY

ABERDEEN, S.D. Days after making the trek down to Atlanta, Georgia, 19-year-old Morgan Bauer quit communicating with friends and family. One year later, the search for her continues with very few leads.

“I just need as much help as possible because I can’t do this by myself,” says Sherri Sichmeller, Bauer’s mother.

The long process of hoping and waiting to hear from her daughter hasn’t been easy.

Missing S.D. woman believed to be in Atlanta, reward offered | WAGA

ATLANTA – A reward is being offered for information leading to the location of a missing South Dakota woman believed to be in the Atlanta area.

Morgan Bauer, 20, flew to Atlanta from South Dakota on February 12 and shortly after her arrival she started working as an exotic dancer in Gainesville, according to police. She’s since been seen in Atlanta.

That plan didn’t work out and. Since then, Sichmeller said she hasn’t heard from Morgan. Sichmeller told FOX 5 she heard that her daughter has worked at adult entertainment clubs in the metro-area to make a living.

A manager at the Top of Gainesville club in Hall County told FOX 5 Morgan worked there for about a week. An unidentified employee at the Tease club in Atlanta said Morgan applied for a job there but was never hired.

Family joins Atlanta search for missing South Dakota teen | WSB-TV

The family of a missing South Dakota teen has arrived in Atlanta to join the search for the girl.

Morgan Bauer, 19, has not communicated with friends or family since Feb. 25. The Atlanta Police Department, which opened a missing person case on the teen over the weekend, confirmed she flew into Atlanta from Minneapolis on Feb. 2.
