A missing 45-year-old Uber driver from Montgomery County “was intent on harming herself” and may have committed suicide, police said Monday after finding the woman’s abandoned car.

Krysten Laib, of Abington Township, was last seen about 4:45 a.m. Tuesday when she dropped off Uber customers on Axe Factory Road in Northeast Philadelphia. Her green 2003 Subaru Legacy was found Monday at the base of the Ben Franklin Bridge, according to Abington police. But there was no sign of Laib.

FL – Missing Uber driver from Pasco returns home

Wesley Chapel, Florida — A 38-year-old driver for Uber from Wesley Chapel has returned after being reported missing for about a month.

Sean Golden, a father of two and part-time driver for the car service, is back home, according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities are searching for a Wesley Chapel man who disappeared early Sunday after working a late night shift for the ride-share service Uber.

Sean Golden, 39, dropped off a fare at 4 a.m. in the 4200 block of Tampania Avenue in Tampa, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. Afterward, he signed out of the Uber application. No one has seen him since.
