A human skull found in a vacant house in St. Louis on Oct. 27, 2016, has been identified as that of a St. Louis man, and St. Louis police are now investigating the man’s death as a homicide.

Jerome Baker, 28, of the 5000 block of Enright Avenue, was reported missing on May 15, 2016. His family said on Facebook that Baker was planning a day of fun at Six Flags with his son, family and friends. But when his best friend arrived to pick him up, he wasn’t there.

Father of missing Chinese scholar: ‘Give my daughter back’ | Chicago Sun-Times

URBANA, Ill. — The father of a visiting Chinese scholar missing from the University of Illinois made an emotional appeal on Thursday for his 26-year-old child’s safe return, saying in an interview: “Give my daughter back.”

Yingying Zhang was last seen on a surveillance video getting into a black Saturn Astra in Urbana on the afternoon of June 9. Police have labeled the case a kidnapping but haven’t ruled out other scenarios.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.– Sources say a body found Tuesday on the city’s northeast side may belong to a missing Muncie woman.

A tip led investigators to a home the the 5300 block of East 43rd Street just after 1 p.m., where remains were found buried in the backyard. Forensic lab technicians and cadaver dogs are at the scene, along with missing persons detectives.

Police: Remains of missing 27-year-old DC man found in embankment off Md dirt road | WJLA

ALLEGANY COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) — A decomposed body of a man was found in an embankment off a dirt road in Allegany County in April and has been identified as 27-year-old Ariel Arnaldo Espinal from D.C., Maryland State Police announced on Tuesday.

According to authorities, Espinal’s body was found by campers about 15 to 20 feet from the road in an embankment about eight feet high on April 21.
