It has been three years since the kidnapping of Vallejo teen Pearl Pinson and her whereabouts are still a mystery. Her family is hoping for new leads in the case as they hold a vigil Saturday to keep her story in the light.

Pinson was just 15 years old when she was abducted as she was on her way to the bus stop. Witnesses reported seeing a man drag her across a pedestrian bridge near Lewis Avenue over Highway 780.

Elderly Benicia Woman Goes Missing From Vallejo: Police | Benicia Patch

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Police asked for help Thursday in finding a Benicia woman who was last seen Wednesday at a hospital in Vallejo. Berte Calvin, 88, was last seen at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday when she left Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center at 975 Sereno Drive.

Lt. Herman Robinson said Calvin was visiting a family member at the hospital and left about an hour before her son arrived.

Pearl Pinson, who was 15 at the time, was kidnapped while walking home from school on May 25, 2016. The suspected kidnapper, Fernando Castro, was shot and killed by police the next day in the town of Solvang in Santa Barbara County. But there’s been no sign of Pearl.

New evidence suggests missing Vallejo teen could still be alive – SFGate

Pinson was kidnapped from a Vallejo overpass in May 2016. Witnesses recall seeing a bleeding and screaming Pinson being dragged by an armed man off the pedestrian bridge. Her alleged abductor, 19-year-old Fernando Castillo, was killed in a shootout with police in Southern California last May.

Investigators initially suspected Castro took Pinson to Jenner in Sonoma County. After sifting through hours of surveillance footage from the area, Castro was spotted on a gas station’s camera near Bodega Bay.

Teen girl reported missing from Vallejo | KCRA

VALLEJO, Calif. (KCRA) —A 15-year-old girl was reported missing Wednesday morning from Vallejo, and deputies are searching for a 19-year-old suspect.

Pearl Pinson was last seen around 7 a.m. on the Interstate 780 pedestrian over-crossing that leads from Home Acres to Taylor Avenue, the Solano County Sheriff’s Office said.

Marve Pastor, 58, was last seen by her sister in the 2300 block of Cordelia Road at 11:30 Sunday morning, police said. Pastor is considered as risk because of health issues.

Police Search for Therapist Missing From California Home – ABC News

A 29-year-old woman was kidnapped and is possibly being held for ransom, police said.

Vallejo police Lt. Kenny Park said officers were notified by an unnamed man that Denise Huskins was abducted from Mare Island in Vallejo, the San Francisco Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/1IpTtUf) Tuesday. Police originally said she is 30.

It was not clear why the man, whom police did not name, waited to alert police.
