Missing Florida Woman Rachel Crenshaw Found Alive – NBC News

Rachel Crenshaw, who was reported missing September 27th, was found safe and unharmed early Wednesday by the Vero Beach, Florida Police Department.

Police say Crenshaw, 33, walked away following an argument with her boyfriend in late September.

“In her statement, she told us she made some friends and they helped her,” Vero Beach Police Chief Dave Currey told Dateline NBC Wednesday.

The Vero Beach, Florida resident vanished from the coastal town on September 26. According to police, Crenshaw was last seen that evening around 8 p.m., near a home on Flamevine Lane. Neighbors reportedly witnessed Rachel engaged in an altercation with her boyfriend, Carlos Lopez. She left on foot, leaving behind her car, cell phone and wallet. She has not been seen since.

Rachel Crenshaw, 33, was last seen around 8 p.m. Saturday.

She left the area of Flamevine Lane and A1A on foot after a verbal altercation with her boyfriend, police said.
