WAPATO, Wash. — Family and friends of a young Native mother of four who has been missing for nearly two months will gather at a prayer walk and candlelight vigil on Saturday.

Rosenda Strong, 31, was last seen in Wapato on Oct. 2 when she left with a friend in an older Nissan car to go to Legends Casino in Toppenish. Her vehicle was left at home, according to information on flyers shared on Facebook.

Toppenish, WA Police Looking for Missing Woman Epifina Mendoza

Toppenish Police looking for a 30-year-old Hispanic woman who has not been seen since last week.

Police say Epifina Mendoza left her home around 9 p.m. on November 5 and later stopped by police in Wapato about 11:30 p.m. but officers let her go.

The following morning, her husband called the Toppenish Police Department reporting she had not returned.
