Weekend search planned for missing Waterloo, IA student | KCRG-TV9

WATERLOO, Iowa- Friends and classmates plan another big search Saturday morning to look for any sign of a missing Waterloo special needs student.

Moe Sed, 18, disappeared October 22nd. He left his family home riding a bicycle but took no money or a cellphone.

Sed, a Waterloo West student, was last seen wearing black pants and a blue shirt. He is a refugee from Burma who speaks English with an accent.

Column: How does a child in U.S. go missing in broad daylight?

It’s going on two weeks now since an 18-year-old Waterloo high school junior left school during fourth period, went home, got on his bicycle — and vanished.

Moe Sed hasn’t been seen he rode away that morning, Oct. 22.

Police say they have no reason to suspect foul play and that Moe left voluntarily. He has no history of trouble with the law, and other than an insignificant argument they say he had with his father before leaving, there were no known family conflicts.

The Waterloo women weren’t shopping, however — they had come for a purpose. They were searching for Moe Sed.

WATERLOO | Waterloo Police are looking for a missing teenager.

Moe Sed, 18, is described as being a 5 foot tall Asian male, weighing around 150 pounds with black hair to his shoulders– with the tips dyed red — and brown eyes.

WATERLOO | The Waterloo Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman.

Jody Kreb of Waterloo was last seen approximately one week ago at the Salvation Army on Franklin Street. She was seen with a white male who had grey hair, a beard and an unkempt appearance.

MO – St. Louis County authorities issue alert for missing man : News

Authorities are looking for a missing man who they say has made suicidal threats in the past.

Adam Meyer, 26, was last reached by cellphone on Sunday. His vehicle, a black 1999 Toyota Camry with Missouri plate KM9D1M, was last seen at 8:45 a.m. Monday on Covington Drive in Waterloo but was gone when police arrived.

IL – Authorities search for missing child near Monroe County camp | Belleville News-Democrat Belleville News-Democrat

Authorities were looking for a young person who was last seen midday Monday at Camp Wartburg near Waterloo.

According to Illinois State Police Sgt. Jeff Snyder, state troopers were at the camp assisting Monroe County deputies in the search. A post on the St. Clair County Emergency Management Agency’s Facebook page stated that St. Clair County Special Emergency Services arrived with a tracking dog to assist in the search.
