WICHITA, Kan. — A woman who led an investigator to the decomposing remains of her 5-year-old stepson was found dead early Friday in a Wichita home, police said.

Wichita police Officer Charley Davidson said during a press briefing that officers responded around 1:40 a.m. after Jonathan Hernandez called to report finding his former girlfriend, Emily Glass, dead of a gunshot wound upon arriving at his Wichita home.

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) — Wichita police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing woman and her one-year-old son.

Police say on Sunday, Dec. 31, around 10:00 a.m., 23-year-old Samantha Riggs became upset and walked away from her family home with her one-year-old son, Mathew Riggs.

The two were last seen at the QuikTrip at Pawnee and Meridian, in Wichita.

STILLWATER, Okla. (KTUL) — Police say they have found some of the belongings of a woman who went missing in October, but they’re still trying to figure out where she might be.

Darian Hudson, 23, went missing Oct. 22. Family members say they have not had any contact with Hudson since she disappeared. Police say they were able to track Hudson’s movements through Oct. 26, when she was last seen sitting in a wooded area and walking toward the intersection of Country Club and McElroy northeast of Stillwater.
