YUBA CITY, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a body found in the Feather River in Northern California is a missing 20-year-old college student.

The Sutter County sheriff’s office identified the body Tuesday as Yuba College student Alycia “Aly” Yeoman.

CA – Report: Text messages claim missing woman was kidnapped – KRCR

GRIDLEY, Calif. – New surveillance video and text messages are being investigated in the disappearance of a missing Butte County college student. The text messages to her mother indicate the young woman may have been kidnapped.

Alycia Yeoman, 20 of Gridley, was last seen one week ago leaving a friend’s house in Yuba City late in the evening on March 30. Friends and family became worried when she failed to show up for work the next day.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) —A 4-year-old girl is missing from the Grass Valley area and considered endangered, officials said Tuesday.

Khia Harwood is 3 feet tall and weighs 38 pounds, investigators said in an Emergency Digital Information Service alert. Khia has long, curly brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink one-piece outfit adorned with white flowers, along with black sandals.

The EDIS is in effect for Yuba, Nevada, Placer and Sutter counties.
