YUMA, Ariz. – A man was reported missing after he went out for a walk and didn’t come back.

Herman “Jay” Boehnke, 49, of Yuma, left his home in the area 18000 block of South Avenue 3 1/2 E on Sunday around noon.

CO – Search underway for missing girl who may be traveling to Kansas

WICHITA, Kan. — The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered girl who may be traveling into Kansas.

The missing child is five-year-old Sidney Carlisle. She’s white, about 3’8″ and weighs approximately 35 pounds. She has short brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen in her front yard wearing a pink Snoopy dress.

It’s been just a little more than two years since 19-year-old Emily Lynn Hieber suddenly went missing. Despite the case no longer being actively investigated, her family is not giving up hope that she will come home alive.

Private Investigator Dave McDowell, who the family recently hired, said the Hiebers have created a Facebook page, which they have named “Help Us Find Emily Hieber,” that is dedicated to the effort of helping to locate Emily.

The body of a man who had been missing since Valentine’s Day has been found, the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office reported Sunday.

The body of Troy Schmeltz, 73, was recovered at approximately 12:25 p.m. Sunday from the Gila River by YCSO. Officials said his family has been notified.
